The Breakout Delivered: Nifty Smashes 23,175 Ahead of the Clock as Stage 1 Locks In

When a market is ready to make its move, it doesn’t ask for permission.

In our previous post, we talked about the exact ingredient needed to confirm a higher-degree trend reversal: a clean gap-up open that bypassed trapped overhead supply, took out the 23,175 ceiling, and arrived before the November 3rd time boundary.

Today, the tape delivered on every single count. Nifty didn’t just test 23,175—it powered straight through it with authority, well ahead of tomorrow’s deadline.

The path we have been mapping since the October 8th low has played out with remarkable precision. With today’s thrust, Nifty has officially locked in Stage 1 of its broader uptrend. While some routine digestion or sideways cooling around these levels is completely normal and healthy, the path of least resistance has tilted decisively upward. Positionally, the index is now unlocked for a move toward the 23,900 to 23,950 zone. For now, that remains our primary working objective.

The Heavyweights Step Up: Bank Nifty and Reliance

A real trend needs participation from the biggest engines on the board, and both are setting up right on schedule:

  • Nifty Bank: The banking index is still sitting roughly 1,000 points below its October high near 56,065. Having absorbed its post-earnings turbulence into the October 23rd cycle date, that overhead peak isn’t a barrier—it’s an open target that should be cleared as the sector catches up.
  • Reliance Industries: We’ve maintained high conviction here, and the stock has delivered. Crossing 1,249 triggered a sharp, textbook pattern breakout, setting up measured targets at 1,320 and 1,380. With Reliance firing, the broader market has the muscle it needs.

The Macro Backdrop: A Risk-On Alignment

Beyond the domestic charts, the broader macro pieces are falling into place in near-perfect synchronization:

  • S&P 500: Primed for an imminent turn. If Friday’s low wasn’t the absolute bottom, a final pivot is due by tomorrow, paving the way for a post-midterms rally toward fresh highs.
  • US 10-Year Yield: Stalled right at our primary upside target of 4.91%, taking valuation pressure off equities.
  • Crude Oil: WTI remains elevated around $102–$103, but the momentum profile looks tired and toppish, setting up an eventual corrective drift back toward $90.

When benchmark yields stall, crude looks exhausted, and the S&P 500 rounds its cycle lows, the global backdrop turns distinctly Risk-On.

The roadmap was drawn, Stage 1 is in the books, and the heavyweights are doing the driving. Keep your discipline, stay focused on that 23,900–23,950 horizon, and let the market do what it’s built to do.
